Alone beneath the huge oak tree, Scarlett stands as she did with her father Gerald at the movie's beginning. Rarely remembered, this scene-worn outfit, 'My Tara' tugs at our hearts as we remember the dark days facing those beginning to rebuild the post-civil war south.
My Tara dressed doll is a 16" vinyl doll, hand painted face with likeness of Vivien Leigh. This scene is rarely remembered, but this is the dress she is wearing, It was light green linen, no big petticoat, flatter large brimmed hat.

Gorgeous doll that I will display with my "picnic" Scarletts. Love the ringlets in her hair! The gown is a beautiful shade of green and the fabric and flow are perfect. Thanks Lone Star dolls!!

I am very pleased. I have the Franklin Mint Scarlet and many Tonner fashion dolls. I love the face paint and hair on the Tonner version. She is just beautiful. The detail is amazing down to the raised eyebrow that Scarlett is famous for. Her dress is very full and the bent wrist body is solid and what I expect from a Tonner doll. This is my first doll purchase in 7 years (recession) and I couldn't be happier. Shipping was fast and friendly communication. I think I've found a new dolly source!
