8” Betsy McCall® and Dru are high quality hard plastic with multiple joints and a newly engineered ‘swing-out’ arm allow for the doll to raise her arms to the sides. Dolls have blinking eyes and wigged, synthetic mohair hair styles. Two styles of face paints have been made available on 8” Betsy: Classic and Perky styles; ‘Perky’ styles embellish the ‘Classic’ style by adding higher color and addition face detail. Only ‘Classic’ styles are currently planned for the 2007 collection.In 1957, Betsy jumped from the pages of McCall’s Magazine into the active hands of her loyal fans as an 8-inch hard plastic doll.
