In 2009, Robert Tonner designed a new doll with a new attitude, Ellowyne Wilde. This 16" doll, of quality vinyl and hard plastic, instantly attracted a sub-culture of doll collectors. Her attitude towards the immediate fame was rather ho-hum. Who Cares? She thought. Boredom was her foe, but fame was not much better. As quirky as she is, everyone loves her. Robert Tonner went on to create an entourage of friends and wonderful costumes. In 2017, Wilde Imagination stopped production and Ellowyne gladly faded into history.
